How do I earn traffic?
The TrafficZap Exchange delivers browser views of your site. You supply us with the URL of your site and we show that page in a window launching from other sites in the network. The windows either pop behind the member site or show on top when launched. As a member, you earn traffic credits by showing other network sites in the same way.
What does my ad look like?
There is no "ad" to view. We launch your website, the URL for your account. View Sample
What about popup blockers?
If an Exchange popunder window is blocked, you have the option to show an alternate window instead. This frame floats on the top of your site. It uses only the top 300 pixels of the browser window, and does not affect your site's content. View Sample
Can you explain the ratio again?
Each unique visitor to your site will see one window of a Member site when your page is loaded. This is counted as 1 credit. For each 2 credits that you earn, your site is loaded the same way for a unique visitor from another Exchange Member site.
How does the referral system work?
Any webmaster that joins the TrafficZap Exchange from your window is credited as your referral. You earn 10% of that site's traffic. In addition, you can refer other webmasters directly and earn 10% of their traffic too.
Will my site be plastered with popup windows?
No. Our system detects unique visitors and only shows one Member Site per session.
How can it be free?
The TrafficZap Exchange is 100% free. We maintain the service by selling our portion of network impressions. Click here for more information.
Can anyone join?
We do not allow sites with adult related content, foreign-language sites, or pages with background sound or other popup windows. Everyone else is welcome to join.
What if someone breaks the rules on content?
We screen each application, and regularly spider account URLs to ensure the integrity of network traffic. Those found violating the rules will have their accounts immediately removed. Abuse complaints result in temporary witdrawl of service, pending a review. We encourge members to particpate in this process.
Why can't I just reload my page over and over to earn credits?
This is cheating. While we have secure systems in place to detect fraud, cheaters are still taken very seriously. Accounts suspected of cheating will be withdrawn and reviewed. We report all confirmed cheaters to Internet and Legal Authorities, and we may launch legal proceedings to recover any damages.
Can I have other popups on my site?
No. You may only have the TrafficZap Exchange code on pages that contain no other popup or popunder windows.
